I had the awesome opportunity to shoot at this wedding for an absolutely wonderful couple with Amanda from Mulberry Lane Studio. It was an outdoor wedding at her parents house. We got there while people were still setting things up and images in my head immediately began to think of the movie Steal Magnolias. The part where the dad was shooting at birds in the back yard and everyone was running around doing their thing.
This family reminded me of this in such a good way. They and their home were all so filled with warmth that we all felt like part of the family. That same feeling continued throughout the ceremony and through the reception.
This wedding made me happy I am beginning to shoot weddings. It was such a pleasure and I feel so privileged to have been a part of it.
